    doesnt really matter both are worthless unless you have quite a bit of mods.... which i doubt you will be anywhere near few are.... if its simply time to upgrade then you might as well buy some better ones instead of paying fords price for oems. Look at jacob's they are supposed to be good.

    bolt on Y is fine for looks and if you only plan to throw on a couple bolt ons and dont ever plan to care about how fast you wish to make the car, they gain decent hp/tq but its just as cheap to convert to true dual exhaust in the end.

    yea they are very good, i have purchased alot though them, they are a ford lot in ga they sell cars and all that, they are fast with shipping also, just make sure what you want is in stock.

    01 conv. rear end vibration/steering wheel- send help

    balance all the wheels and have a GOOD shop do it and also check for the tires being out of balance, if you need new tires or its gonna be that much money... just buy freaking 17 inch rims and tires for 1000 bucks :) look TONS better and have all new stuff.

    the 5.0 is cheap to make fast but stock are dogs..... if you want a fix me up from paint/interior/motor then get a 5.0 if you want soemthing thats gonna look good or is in good shape but wont be as fast... not nearly... with out quite a bit of work then get the v6

    for 99 shift at 5250 1st-2nd 5350-5400 2nd-3rd(help over the hump in 3rd) and 5250 3rd-4th any more you are wasting your time. expect to run very horrible times.... and you should be able to do 2.1-2.2 60ft and every .1 off your 60ft is .2 off your quarter/8th mile times so... when you run...

    they lie about the gains, throttle body = -5hp/tq, maf = 0hp/tq, exhaust = 7hp/6tq, cai = 6hp/3tq... as you can see most are just enough to deem worth buying.

    Someone put a Cobra front on their 98.

    it works identical to the oem front just looks different... if you dont have fog lights run the wires if you do (oem) stick the connectors in the new fogs thats all there is to it. look at a pic of any cobra and thats what it will look like.

    you can get a cobra bumper and fog lights and bezel, basically all you need is the floating horse and a cobra radiator cover that will be 35 more bucks. www.gefracing.com under 2000 cobra R parts has the front bumper for 300 bucks :) pait it and put it on.

    a throttle body is also worthless and will wind up costing you hp/tq you wont need one of those either until you are around 300rwhp/tq

    I notified my insurance that i own a GT now rather than a V6...

    insurance is a major factor if you suck at driving and like getting tickets... if you dont have any major tickets and are 19+ you dont have a problem with insurance when you hit 25 (what im waiting for) it drops in half.

    if it shakes in a given mph range or from a given mph upwards its a rim balance issue get them balanced for around 30 bucks and it may totaly remove the problem, if your tires are out of round then.... it may be more of a problem make sure the place that balances the rims checks for the tires...

    C&L are not the best.... and a 70mm required alot of custom work... the iac wont clear adn alot of other stuff. do you really want to take all that time and money just to loose 5rwhp and tq?

    well clutch install should be 200 give or take 50 bucks maybe 300~ but no more, a clutch is not expensive, you can get an oem for under 200 EASY.

    nothing ford did it, but i added up all new parts and it came to 150-200 bucks for everything replaced. www.gefracing.com is a ford dealer thats in georgia very good prices.

    The unthinkable has happened

    you can clean the fuel system you can access it on the fuel rail and just turn the pump on and suck it right though I belive.
