    Opinions? I'm thinking about installing rivnuts with Loctite on the screws to hold the solenoids, charcoal can, & ABS pump. Seems like a better option than just putting bolts into the metal. Obviously, the solenoids and charcoal can don't weigh anything, but it'll make for serviceability should...

    Welp, I suck at welding. Haha. It looks like I need more heat. One hole actually got filled. 3 of them look like I didn't touch them and the others are kinda full but not enough. Sprayed with some weld through primer so I can see better. Time to try again.

    Got the fender pulled. Figured out where to mount things. New solenoids and charcoal can will be here this week. It's going to get cleaned up and painted. Probably going to stay like this till I get the Swiss cheese welded up.

    Interesting. I pulled the hood hinges. One side has a bracket. The other side doesn't. Obviously new hinge boots are a thing. But it feels like one side is missing a piece of metal.

    It's not as bad as it looked. Surface rust only. The inner seam of the front frame is a bit distorted. Gonna clean it as best I can. Fix the stressed weld and maybe add a few more.
