    Convert care

Also the stuff called Awesome. It will take anything out. If you are careful spray the top when it is dry. Soak it though so that it isnt spotty. Also, dont let any get on the paint because it will dull it out. Then start scrubbing.

    My 07 changes....so far.

That is awesome. I have heard people talk about Bo but I haven't had him do anything yet. I wish my Ranger could put down some numbers like that. I will be taking it to the track in three weeks for a club track day. I am hoping to grab 12's. I ordered a vertical tube IC and alky injection...

Timing retards with the SPOUT out...

I just checked all the wires on my TFI from the 5.0 and compared them to my ranger.

    Timing retards with SPOUT out...

The problem is fixed. The wire in the TFI that has power when the car starts was receiving power even after the car started. I disconnected it and now the timing is staying at 10* with the spout out.

Timing retards with the SPOUT out...

With the SPOUT in: 6.9V at idle but dropped to 6.7 while revving the engine With SPOUT out: 6.43 at idle and dropped to 6.37 while revving the engine I made these measurements by probing into the SPOUT wire right at the TFI. What does this mean?

    Whats the best Choice?

They are both fun but they can both be costly. I feel the 2.3 is easier because there is alot of room in the engine compartment to work on the motor. The 5.0 is strong, dependable and has a lot of aftermarket parts. Aftermarket 2.3 parts get very expensive. IMO, either route is a good...

    Crap Ass Equal Lengths

I always thought that MAC made good headers but no one likes them. I was installing some the other day on a friends car and we had to do some hammering on them to get em to fit. FRPP and BBK are good choices as far as fitment and quality.

    Timing retards with SPOUT out...

I did have it at 10* before I changed it. I did continuity tests on the wires and they all checked out okay. I am thinking maybe two wires are touching somewhere in the harness.

    Quick Wideband question!

Dont get too close to the tailpipe though. You have more of a chance of reading outside air.

Timing retards with the SPOUT out...

If the voltage at the SPOUT does what you say, then what could be causing the timing to retard?

Timing retards with the SPOUT out...

When I pull the SPOUT out the timing is set at 10*. Then when I start to rev it up with the SPOUT out the timing begins to fall off. It will retard 20*. I have checked the continuity of all the wires to the TFI and they were all good. I tried a new computer just now and it did not make any...
