    thats got to be a record! yea im bad about downshifting. i got on it in second a couple days ago and the clutch just didnt engage in third since then its been slipping. is the clutch install on the s197s pretty easy?

    How many miles did you have before you had to replace your clutch? i have 25000 and its acting up. seems a little premature to me. im not terribly hard on it and have only been to the track once.

    Its the jegs hpipe btw. i didnt like how pypes went to the 4 pieces so i just went with jegs. it was cheaper and i got in in about a day and half.

    Thanks alot guys.. ill check the ebrake but im pretty sure its the Hpipe. it didnt start doing it until i installed it. so if its the hangers did you just adjust them until you got them right or trim the excess off or what? i guess i could put some duct tape around the end of the hangers drive...

    I dont have the original mufflers unfortunately. It could be the drone but you can hear it right in the middle of the car like its metal to metal almost? oh well im used to it now i just thought there might be a quick fix.

    a good friend of mine has an SS with intake/lid, 373 gears, full exhaust including longtubes, short throw shifter, with some suspension goodies and can run 12s all day. I can run low 13s (got a 12.9 once on stickies) but its a different story on the way back home from the track! :D

    Im not condoning street racing or anything like that, but do our cars stack up better on the highway compared to our competition (camaros, vettes,T/A,...) seems like when me and my buddies go out for a cruise i can run better with those cars from 50 and on than i do when we compare track times...

    I just ordered mine from brenspeed yesterday! Their current shipment from pypes had problems so they are not going to be able to ship it to me until thurs/fri. which means im going to have to wait over a week to get it but oh well...

    Thanks guys. when i bought the car a few months back it already had american thunder axle back on it. i like the way they sound with an o/r H. i got the car for performance so ill probably order the H pipe, but i just cant stand the way the car sits!!

    I just got in my JLT intake and brenspeed tune today and intalled it, totally different car! I love it. I have some extra money and was going to buy the pypes o/r H but i found some eibach pro springs on ebay for 169.99. I just cant decide. what would you do if you couldnt have both?

    I was just wondering if the C&L + Tune is worth the extra 100 dollars over the JLT + tune? On brenspeed they say they got a car in the 12s with just the C&L and mufflers? sounds a little fishy to me?
