my grandpa had 2 large coils under the drivers seat of his model a that he could plug onto his battery and had it rigged so that anyone who touched the body would get a zap, he was a welder back in the day so i diddnt really question what he said, i just wish i had the knowledge to implement...

i know what you are talking about cause my quadrajet on my 305 is doing the same **** bogging out, it needs rebuilt i know that, but how old is your holley?
may be colder here then where you live, and i hadnt drove mine all winter, dunno about you but that is basically my normal startup procedure for this weather about 50 degrees i dont have a choke cable though i have a rough cam, thats the way i like it .... maybee your cam just hada break in :)

i have both and i think the ported 289 heads are slightly better with what i run

weight is definatly an issue.... id use ethire sheetrock or carborad (cardbord can be a hassle) im trying to straighten up the trunk around my subs in my monte and im thinking about using...
The cobra will be nothing like driving a 305, the 305 is barely faster then the new v6'es dunno if its same for your v6

looking into buying one and on the ford site vehicle locator some say for engine 3.8L EFI and some say 3.8L EFI OHV , he said one seemed faster and i diddnt think ford made 2 different 3.8L for mustangs

ripping astro wings off a beretta or cavilier is one thing, but your mustang looked right with that spoiler you had id go with it agian, and maby run a chain between the bolts inside the hood ? dunno if that...
i agree with the guys, plus lots of people belive that a v8 with the same hoarse would outlive a v6 with forced induction
the 4.6 is a great engine, and mustang people dont want their cars to be like lots of other cars, fwd and/or v6
