How hard is it to change your syncros?

Rebuilds around here are very expensive. Tranny work is specialty work. My friend had second gear rebuilt (new synchros) and a new clutch put in and the cost was a shade over $1500. IMO, you are better off grabbing a new tranny and bolting it in. Jon

Where did u get your code puller?

I got mine at Schuck's. You can basically pay what you want for them, and I have never heard of the cheaper ones being less accurate. Maybe more difficult to operate (counting beeps instead of reading a simple display), but not less accurate. Jon

    Motor jerks around 2000 rpm???

    Running open headers?

With the proper engine combo, open headers can be an advantage. However, in stock form the car needs an exhaust to maintain a useful powerband. Open headers would destroy this. Jon

    94GT Modification Help

Yeah, most popular mods are exhaust, pulleys and intake manifold. With those he could be more than a new GT. Stock he is putting down probably 190rwhp; the new GTs put down 225rwhp. If he wants 300rwhp, new heads and cam are in his future. Jon
