I think something is up with the car. Everytime I take off I hear the most aweful racket under the car. Kind of a screech. Seems like the car doesn't want to go anywhere and it is smoking like crazy. It did this again today, so I stopped trying to get it to go and got out to look. There...
I decided to put the original emblems back on temporarily.
I soaked them in acetone today. One of them stripped completely (no black left on it) and the other did not strip at all! Why did this happen?
They are both original Ford emblems.
Let me see if I understand this. You are wanting NO amber to be showing? Not even the bulb?
If so .... you can buy chrome looking bulbs that light up amber.
Oh yeah. By pass her for now ... unless you really have the downtime to fix it now. I am sure you are not using the heater down there right now, lol.
CC plate intstall is easy. Even the 4 bolt ones. Just have to drill a new hole. The directions that Urban posted are the same one's that...
Man you guys are killing me! I have to keep my mind off the old cars before I get in too deep.
1969 or 1970 fastback Stang will be mine .... one day.
Grats Nik!
Well yeah ... but all gasoline powered cars had to be OBD-II starting in 1996, right? ( Some cars were OBD-II before '96, though)
The law here is '96-newer has to do sniffer. I thought it was like that everywhere.
Glad to hear! I get a free ticket for it tomorrow.
^^^ I remember back when that wasn't a big deal. Now, a movie costs $20+ to take my wife to go see one. WTF happened there?
Not sure if you are understanding Eric, lol.
I have no cats ... so instead of buying another pipe ... I shall "modify" the one I have. i.e. ... cat/con shells + welder = passing visuals. :D
