    Hesitating Badly. NEWBEE needs help.

Yeah, i can't really see anything in the pics. I would take it in to get tuned for those 42# injectors you have, they should more than handle what is on the engine unless you have a really serious cam and heavily ported heads, or your blower (looks like a powerdyne) is making over 15# of boost...

    stock MAF for 03 GT

Did you lose or damage your original MAF? If not, unless you are making more than 400 at the wheels, put it back in.

    Hesitating Badly. NEWBEE needs help.

My thinking is that your original setup was using an FMU which used to be a common thing in supercharger kits for NPI cars. If you threw 42# injectors in and they are running at 70# there is way too much fuel. If that's the case, you are probably running so rich that your charge cannot...

    Hesitating Badly. NEWBEE needs help.

In 1996, all the mustang fuel systems were returnless. Somewhere through the 98 year, Ford quietly switched to the returnless fuel system. If the system on the new engine was returnless, then the fuel pump may be operating improperly. Also, changing those injectors abolutely threw off the...

    98 mustang gt

It's your build man, you can throw it on or not. It takes ten to twenty minutes to add or remove it and it won't cost you any power. If you put it on now, you won't have to put it on later. As for selling it, why bother, a good deal is a good deal and $70 dollars is a good deal. Just my two...

    Fuel system help

If you are only trying to get 550rwhp out of your turbo (i think it can handle more), a returnless setup with a single walbro 255lph can do the job. My supercharged setuip originally had a walbro 255. the pump costs $129. I was getting 540rwhp on mine. Since you won't lose power turning a...

    valve cover gaskets dont fit

welcome to the wonderful world of romeo/windsor 4.6 differences. One assembly plant uses 13 bolt cam covers, one plant uses 11 bolt covers. I think the windsor is 13 and the romeo is 11. It could be vice versa though.

    98 mustang gt

Yeah, the TB should bolt right up. Just remember that for a given accelerator pedal position, the new TB will flow more air, but you really won't get more power. Make sure that the throttle positon sensor retains the right voltage ( i want to say it is .99volts but i am not for sure). You may...

    98 mustang gt

Don't waste your money. At your current level, the TB isn't a restriction, nor is anything else in the intake piping. Your focus should be on heads, cams, gears, and exhaust headersYour money is better spent elsewhere. For the same money you spend on a TB you can get a set of gears which...

    Fast&Cheap Mods

cams or nitrous. Cans and springs are 700-800 plus 350 installed. A good stage 2 set can get you 40 peak and much more after the power peak. Holley makes a direct nitrous port Injection sytem that runs 1500 or so. You can make 50-300 HP off of it.

    Loud noise after cam install...

Unbolt the cam sensor and back it out of the cover. Start the car and see if it is still there. Don't back it all the way out. Make sure Someone holds the can sensor so it doesn't fall out.

    Opinions on Cams

Guys there are some really important things to consider with this cam. The specs on these cams are as follows 238 intake, 234 exhaust 111 LSA and .550"/.500. They are a really good set of naturally aspirated cams. They favor the intake side very heavily as evidence in the their staggered...

TOWED LAST NIGHT...now a new noise

They probably towed your baby with the front lifted and the rear wheels on the road. If they did it means they were windmilling the tranny and the engine all the way to wherever their yard is. Of course, you will never get them to admit that...:notnice:

    Thought it was fixed! :o(

If they replaced your GT rearend with a V6 rearend then you got royally.....use your imagination. One of the major differences between the V8 and V6 platforms is that the V6 uses the wimpy 7.5" rear axle. The GT uses the much better 8.8". They throw that stupid 7.5 in there because salvage...

New Ported SVO Flow numbers. Cam recommendations?

Ron didn't have any specific recommendations, except to say that if I go above .580" that I need to have modifications done to the valvetrain ( either the followers or the lash, I can't remember). He said the intake could definitely benefit from more lift, but the exhaust is pretty much maxed...

New Ported SVO Flow numbers. Cam recommendations?

So a few years ago, I had a guy port my SVO heads, he did it during a rebuild. At the time I wasn't terribly educated on head flow. The guy told me 233 intake and 190 on the exhaust. Pretty good numbers, or so I thought. So I had to rebuild the engine recently and got the heads checked...

rear tires and front tires are different. you guys ever do this?

The G-Force T/A KD is pretty much the best gripping street tire ever offered by BFG. Do not confuse it with the KDW, KDW2, or the KDWS as they have a lot more tread pattern cut into them and are wet driving capable and all season respectively. The KD is a "dry weather only" summer tire. To...

    Can't decide, please help

I concur. If nothing else it leaves room to grow. But even at the boost you want, one bad batch of gas could destroy your engine. An intercooler isn't just a performance piece, it is an extra safety margin at your disposal. A lot of centrifugal and turbo guys pass up the i/c in favor of...

I need a new trans to replace my stock one...and suggestions?

Yeah, kind of a curse really, comes with the OCD. Those darn numbers, they get stuck in my head taking up all the space and they won't come out. Too bad I can't do the same with little things like doctor appts, anniversaries, and other things that get me in trouble with my better half. You...
