    Just wondering what you stock or stockish 99-04 GT drivers are getting for gas milage. I have been borrowing my Dads 02 GT and have gotten around 21mph with mixed city and highway. I also took it on road trip and it got 26mph on the highway!!! is this normal for the rest of you guys?

    So that would mean that something went wrong with my ignition which required me to change my ignition components but i also my balancer also happened to move which created a double problem.

    1500rpm bucking would kill me. Im a daily driver and chug around that rpm area all the time. But then again i do my own tuning and could probably fix that :rlaugh: . Except for the fact i cant even get my car to run anymore :(

    That seems a little optimistic. I dynoed mine first with 1,000 miles and then with 7k on it. I didnt gain any power from breaking in. WHITE94COBRA - 357rwtq? out of a 306 what is the combo and what RPM are you turning? That is pretty high for a small 306.

    Not a bad pull. As long as the Tq curve is nice and flat. Its probably the cam that is holding you back. The other hardwear is not bad at all. What kind of total timing did he put in?

    I tried a new coil, dizzy, and ignition module. Nothing really helped. The new coil now makes it kinda sputter but still not much. My shift light had been acting up lately which is wired into the coil ground so im gonna go check that. and see whats up. Any other ideas?

    Just wondering. I have some 02 GT seats in my stang and the seat belt holders are loose on them I wanna tighten them up but the the head rest on i cant get an angle on them. I dont want to mess them up. Is there a way to get them off???
