    you said you got a code for coolent thermostat? Do you mean the coolent temp. sensor? I dont think that your computer could throw codes about the thermostat. But there is a sensor that tells the computer the tempature of the coolent, so that it can adjust your timing, mainly for easier starting...

    No charge off alternator

    that buzzing is prolly a relay that is stuck open and arc-ing over. I had a problem like that back in january. I ended up having to tear into the wiring harness, to find two wires that had shorted out. I guess im lucky the car didn't burn down.

    if you run the prokit springs, you could get a set of urathane spring issolators. They would give you a bit of a "lift" so that the car wouldn't sit quite as low as the advertised drop.

    at $45 or $50 an hour, plus paint, thats not a horrible price, but it is a little steep. No matter how you fix it, with a dent puller, or by cutting the entire section out and welding it, its going to look alot worse before it gets better, and u might wanna leave it to someone with experiance...

    I would never eliminate the ac from a daily driver if it had any chance of working. Smog pumps on the other hand, the one in my Mustang II was about 50lbs, so he had to go.

    im not a big fan of cutting springs. The eibach Prokit springs, are a progressive rate lowering spring, and are specificly made for 2.3L mustangs. That would be ur best bet.

    dose that motor have a distributor? if so, it could be a tooth or 2 off, or it could be 180' off. or your cam could be a tooth off now that I think of it.
