I'm not sure what you think you are proving, other than you have time to search other websites. All those guys are saying is to "go bigger" without really thinking about it.

    Yo "Mr.Woodster"...

Do you understand that with less weight you go faster with less power? Besides, with all of the money they spent, they SHOULD be WAY faster, but they aren't.

Mike, 1000's of people use splifire plugs believing the claims they use to make. That doesn't make splitfires "better". Millions of cars came from the factory with 4 ga or whatever it is, do all those need to change it out for 1/0 cable? It's all in the application and how much overkill...

    Clutch suggestions

I had good luck with a Spec stange III clutch from S&R racing in a previous car. I'll likely get another one for the current car when I put the new short block in. (Though I'd really like to go auto, just can't decide)

I see why some hang out at Stangnet where there's no one to "challenge" what you are preaching. Are you familiar with the term "overkill"? Just because someone (anyone) uses "x" size wire, doesn't mean "x" sized wire is what EVERYONE needs or that isn’t big time overkill. When you are a...

Mike, I think you seriously need to crack open some books or SOMETHING to learn about how elec works. I could have one of the EE's in my office get on here and explain some of this stuff to you guys, but I just don't think it would be worth their time. Do you understand that the Jeg's kit...

What effect does tire size have?

Guys, keep in mind that just because you put on bigger diameter wheels, your overall diameter does not have to be larger.

I think i am finally serious

Yes, JY=JunkYard I'm with Stinger all the way. What I have usually done is kept my eye out for a rusted out/damaged 87-88 Turbocoupe that runs good, for sale cheap. You get all the parts you need and probably still have stuff left over to sell. Last one I did, I acutally made money on...

    turbo?

What kind of car are we talkin? How well do you drive? How heavy? The first turboford I really started messing with ran high 13s to low 14's at 98 mph with basically just a K&N and 3" downpipe. I probably had some sort of intercooler. I do remember driving it for a year or 2 with a TC...
