    My 98 GT gets about 17 mpg combined city/hwy, if I am easy on the throttle. I assume you can expect something around that area.

    I definitely want to get gears installed. I think I am going to get a stall converter and shift kit first. I hate having an automatic :nonono: , but the price was right so I bought it. Thanks for the replies. :nice:

    Last night I was on the freeway going about 70 and wanted to air it out a little and gunned it. Well when I did the revs went up to 4,000 then faded to 3,700 or so, then pulled past 4,000. WTF is up with that?? Any help would be appreciated. :nice: BTW, the car is an automatic.

    You could cut them out and put some flex pipe or something along those lines in their place, or gut them out and stick the case back on there.

    straight pipes

    One of my friends ran straight pipes on his 95 GT. It sounded ok when it was idling, but as soon as he hit the gas it sounded like ass.
