    Butt connectors are only as good as the crimp and leaves a lot to be desired. Aside from "travel floaters" I'd pull the unit and solder them. To me, it sounds like you're losing power and the unit's restarting. Check your ground too. Good luck :)

    I just don't like F bodies anymore, not since I've owned a Fox. Droopy doors, crappy interiors, leaking weatherstrip... I'm over it. I used to be a Camaro guy. I've still got an '84 and I hope to sell it before Christmas, but that's not looking too good right now :)
