    Borla S Types are pretty aggresive when you get on them. Not loud at all when you are doing 55 on the highway or at idle. No drones either. Mine's a manual with a 3.31.

    I was wrong about the rpm range. It's more like 1550-1600 rpm @ 60mph, lol. I would be very interested to see if a 2.73 could even work.

    Yeah, i would imagine you would get about 26 mpg with the 3.31 in a V8. Hard to say if a 2.73 would get better, might actually be too much, lol. I don't think the 3.31 hits 2k rpm until about 60-65 as is. Can't remember.

    My average sucks right now because of two bad averages during break in, but from now on, I'm estimating 24-26mpg average depending on where and how I drive it. :) My best so far was 24.4mpg. Hoping for 25 next time.

    Is your volume limit when you are getting on it? Or like driving highway speeds? I'm mostly concerened about how loud it is crusing at 50-55mph going to work every day. Your post alone is enough to suade me that my thoughts on the S-Type being what I might want was correct. :)
