My new Cobra has been murdered!

There is a way to completely reset the unit back to stock setting through the ignition. I had this happen to a 2003 F-150 I owned. I had to turn the ignition so may times, then it started right up. I had the same exact symptoms you are having. See if you can find the procedure here...

    Tourque wrench

Ah, that sucks. I only have the clicky type of Tq Wrenches anyway. We used Snap-On when we fixed planes in the Marine Corps, so I stuck with that style. The good ole government only buys Snap On tools, well they did when I was in.

Make sure you get Blue Book value, and make sure the V6 has zero mods, you will stay nice and safe that way.

Amen to that. Way too many people in here trying to play daddy to this poor guy. Dude admitted he made a mistake, didn't endanger other motorists. I hope your alright man, but I in no way think you are a retard for testing out your car. Next time you will handle that turn because your car...

Was a real good debate, I would still build mine with Griggs anyday over MM. I guess I am partial, I used to live real close to the area MM is at, and I just know how they got their start. They used to be a Griggs technology part for half the price, you know to help the little guy out. But...

    Glad this happened at home!

Truth is, you don't know what happened unless you were there. I have heard of some really weird things happening before. So, you can't just say you know what happened. Dude, just go by the Ford link on capacity or what you owners manual says. I have always used K&N oil filters, but the...

    Glad this happened at home!

According to Ford its 5 quarts from 1998-2002 that I see. 1996 and 1997 is 6 quarts. Put your year in and look under the owners guide, then capacities. You can also enter your VIN in the recall section and see what recals have been done, and what recalls need to be done to your car. Very...

The screen came up black in safe mode? Check your Video drivers, and sound drivers next. Make sure you have good, current drivers. Wow, never seen the screen come up black in Safe-mode. You might have a nasty virus for sure. Good luck with that man.

Thats why they put a lifetime guarantee on it. And advertise it as daily driver to track use. I have never heard of one cracking, and I have had 3 friends use them (lucky bastards).

ROFLMAO, its tequila man, lmao:rlaugh:. And I got it that you bought 7 quarts and saved one for later even though you said you had "7 quarts ready to go in". I dont think anyone would put 7 quarts in, at least I hope not, lmao. I actually like Cabo Wabo better too. This is a funny a** thread.

Just debating here I have seen many cars run Griggs on the street and never have a problem, except too good of handling in a car, lol. With that said, listen to what you said the stuff is good enough for racing, but not street driving. Griggs was designed on some of the most grueling road...
