    Oil Catch Can Help.

Is that the newest revision of the on3 turbo kit? Im about 2 weeks away from ordering the backordered kit, in the mean time im going to put some gt40's and trying to get rid of my idle/stalling problem.

    Transmission swap

Don't know much about the 3.8's. But on my 5.0, everything from the ECU, transmission cables, flywheel, bellhousing transmission, to the very end including u-joint connected to the drive shaft.

    CAI

After market cai's wont get you any noticeable power. I made my own cai which has straighter piping than the aftermarkets provided. The only difference i noticed was the suction of air when tapping on the throttle. If your really set on getting one? Ebay and SRperformance has some good looking cai's

Compression test. How bad is it?

Compression test. How bad is it?

I've completed 3 compression test on my 90k mile engine. I wanted to find out where my motor was for future upgrades, but i am so unsure of my numbers. Dry test numbers arent exactly matching to each other. Wet test looks better than both dry test. Cyl- 1st dry/ 2nd dry/ 3rd wet (oil) 1-115. /...

GT40p swap, E7 springs and rockers?

May i ask, are you running an aftermarket cam? I remember seeing the .540 lift springs at alexparts. Initially thats what i wanted to do. After e-mailing them a couple of times they replied with the ".440 to .500 lift springs" would be my best option going turbo. I asked about using the .440 to...

GT40p swap, E7 springs and rockers?

"Holy thread from the past batman" My question to anyone is: will the stock e7te springs be "ok" on the gt40p's if; i am going to stay with the same cam for my engines lifespan? My .444 stock cam is best for a turbo build. So there is no reason at all to ever switch my cam.

95 GT - Upgrading to 99+ PBR Brakes

Is it only the 99 GT models that came with dual piston or can they be found on the v6's as well?

95 GT - Upgrading to 99+ PBR Brakes

This is the first time i've ever heard of this swap. So obviously there is better braking power. And it's an easy bolt on?

    95 upgrades

I know trickflow sells a kit with valve guide seals and all, but reviews on even the springs aren't that great. I myself am going with the gt40p cylinder heads (mildly port and polished, 3 angle valve job) but with Alex's parts .440 to .500 lift springs for a turbo build and better seals for...

What to do about gt-40 explorer heads not having thermactor holes

The video i mentioned above should be under "junkyard dog" gt40 cylinder head part II (part 2). I just learned for im inspections, the thermactor system is only a visual test. On my gt40p heads ill only be tapping it in for a few threads to hold that tube. Basically the tubing will rin into...

What to do about gt-40 explorer heads not having thermactor holes

I believe there is a you tube video on how to: measure, center drill, drill and tap the thermacture hole. Looks for "junkyard dogs, 302 heads".

    95 gt possible short?

Have you checked the inirtia switch in the trunk? and fuses? I believe Chris Fix has a video of what to check for on youtube regarding no start up and no fuel pump being heard.

are GT40 heads direct bolt on? 95 mustang gt

I guess ill have to trim down the flange on my hooker headers for the gt40p's.

are GT40 heads direct bolt on? 95 mustang gt

Hopefully i wont be in that category, ive got a set of p's in my garage soon to be worked on, same time im also waiting for on3 to re+release the newer turbo kits. Hopefully those header will have enough clearance. Some porting work will probably be needed on the normal 40's to match hp output...

are GT40 heads direct bolt on? 95 mustang gt

Is there any gain in HP using the gt40's? I know the P's are good for 15 to 20 more HP. But the stand alone P's?

    95 gt possible short?

Gotta agree with the answer above. If the wire isn't torn all the way just use some heat shrinking tubing. Can you not hear the fuel pump priming when you turn the key to accesories?
