    I was gonna do overlays and trim rings and whatnot but decided this would be best bet even though it cost more. Couldn't be happier with these: Ford Mustang Upgrade Instrument Cluster Modules by Simco Ltd.

    +1 RP is the devil.. Mobil 1 diff lube has friction modifier formulated in already..I don't run any modifier, no noise at all.

    97 Cobra Charging/wiring problem??

    Maybe a bad instrument cluster if the input terminals are burnt..possibly a short on the board... All other electrical working normal?? I'd also check voltage at the battery just to make sure...should be around 14 to 14.5 volts running...may take a minute or so to rise to that.

    Had a shop put 3.73s in my Gt. Had very noticeable vibration above 65, esp. when lifting of the throttle. Was told it may be a bad u-joint after the tech. road in the car. Decided I would take a look see....turns out they had the D/S rotated 180* on the pinion flange from where it was. I lined...

    Its possible the clutch plates are worn. I remember reading in 5.0(I think) that they said 30K on the T-lok was average for acting as a open diff. I didn't experience this with my 01 auto before I replaced my clutch pack when I did gears. Who knows...maybe she was a burnout kindof gal... But...

    Adapter plate looks like a good idea. I just took the plug out thats next to the factory oil pressure switch. Its 1/4" NPT. I used a short brass pipe nipple and tee fitting. Installed temp/pressure senders. That only cost $2.

    2.02 on 255/45 all seasons at 25psi with a prepped track. Stock tranny with all the usual boltons. Don't think it'll do much better as is.

    Surprised noone mentioned this....99' up have no plug wires. Kindof hard to miss that one.

    how many miles are on your 99-04?

    01 GT - 33K on the clock. Fuel pump module went out at 20K. Only problem thus far. Still has original battery.
