    Twice this week I started my car and after it started it would cut out and not hold the normal idle. If I kept giving it gas it would stay running until a few minutes go by. Anywhere I should start to look?

    I got 191k out of my T-5. The only reason why I had to get a rebuilt was the bushing on the tail of the tranny went bad.

    Thanks that does help. It was odd that I cleaned it and then the idle would stay high. The reason I cleaned it was when I would go to give the car gas the pedal didnt have the soft touch it would normally have. After I cleaned the TB that stick dissapeared but the high idle came down...

    Clutch-Need more air gap

    Adjustable cable. I have asked a few tranny experts over the past few months and they told me it is most likely the cable adjustment. I adjusted the firewall adjuster and there was no difference. Who sells a good adjustable clutch cable?

    TB Cleaned, question

    I cleaned my TB because it was sticking. I sprayed it with TB cleaner, moved the butterfly and sprayed also. Now it doesnt stick anymore but now when I give it gas the idle will stay up and only come down after I tap the pedal. What options do I have now?

    3.73's that much different than 4.10's?

    IF GAS MILEAGE IS A FACTOR- Hope this helps. I just drove my car to NY from FL. It has the 3.73's. I got better gas mileage at 80mph than I did at 75mph. Anyway, gas mileage shouldnt be a factor because I got 23 mpg on the hwy at 80mph.

    The Mustang I have is my first Ford. I can not believe the beating a 302 can take. I dont think any highway mileage can kill it.

    Just Shipped out the T5

    I got a rebuilt T-5 from them a few months ago. The old tranny was completely shot. It had 192,000 on it. The shocker was the clutch was still in good shape. I put in a king cobra clutch. Anyway the tranny is great. The best part is the free shipping.

    Is there such thing as a seat repair kit? My drivers seat is on the floor, the springs are broke or missing. Any suggestions if no kit is available.
