    Tranny Blowout! (Auto) Help.

    I too would just stick with another auto, just build it up a little or buy a built one. Look at different trans and trans parts that PA sells. TCCoA.com has some write ups on rebuilding and upgrades for a bullet proof tranny. Sorry to hear about your tranny blowing up too, good luck!!

    I have a GT but with a Cobra front bumper & fogs so my mannual wont help much, I dont think. I agree our lights arent all that good.

    I used the Mustang World write up too. Did you have any probs with the rears. I couldnt get the bolt for the lower control arm to line up properly, it was a PITA, but I eventually got it. I was worried about the fronts and they ended up being easy!

    Why would you want to change the pistons just to get different sound from a car? Mufflers would be a hell of a lot cheaper. Have you heard the car yourself? What does it sound like?

    Forget the bra. Drive the car without it who cares about the front bumper. When collage is over and you are making money get a Cobar R front bumper and all will be good again! :nice:

    If you got LTs you would need to get a new mid pipe. The cams will run you close to 600 plus you'll need a tune, for that price you could get a N2O kit and really be flying. Like I said I dont know how much loot you're looking to spend.

    You could try removing the front sway bar, rear seats, the passanger headlight, and the spare tire & jack. Thats all free and could get you some lower E.T.s. Just something to try. I dont know how much $$ you have to spend but a timing adjuster and pullies or the Accufab TB + plenum or some drag...
