    2005 GT vs 2004 Mach 1

    This is my 3rd Mustang and it has to be the best I've had so far. I beat this idea of waiting for the 05 before I got the Mach, but I LOVE the way the Mach looks. The 05 looks great from the front, but I don't like the back end. I'll wait a couple more years and see were the Cobra takes us...

    Just got word from the guy I ordered from. He talked to Diablo and they are shipping them to him next week. He should have them in his hands either the end of next week or the week after. It will be on it's way to me the week after that. So were looking at May 4-6 I should have it.

    If you go to a tuner he can dyno tune the car and load it onto the programer. Then you can have a more agressive tune for the track and a not so agressive tune for the street. I just hope it holds up to all the hype that's been said about it.

    K&N FIPK or Volant Cool Air Induction?

    I have one on the Mach and I like it a lot. When I had the GT I looked at the Volant kit, but I went with Desencharger. K&N makes a VERY good peice!!!

    Any HP gains with Stock Mufflers vs Flowmasters?

    I just did the mufflers and didn't notice anything but the sound. The mid-pipe will give you the HP gain....not the mufflers.

    I had the same problem. They replaced one of my valve springs and now it's fine...no noise.

    Mach 1 Stainless Steel Cat-back ideas

    That's what I'm waiting for. It would be nice for Flowmaster to get on the ball and at least offer a stainless cat-back. I'm going to wait another year and see what they come out with, that's why I just welded in the mufflers for now.

    Installed my Tri-Ax and

    I put the Tri/Ax in my old '02 and tranfered it into my '04. I forgot what it was like to have a stock shifter untill I drove the '04 for the first time. The stock shifter is like shifting with a hand full of wet noodles compared to the Tri/Ax.

    Whats wrong with YOUR pony?

    I had the "tick" in the head that alot of people with Mach 1's have. They replaced the valve spring on the driver side head. Small fade mark in the paint, so they buffed the front end. Other than that it's been OK. I only have 1,000 miles on it so we'll see what else happens.

    Jet-Hot Brand Longtube Headers????

    I had a set of Motorsport headers that were Jet-Hot coated on my old '91. I loved the look of them, and the coated is VERY durable. Ninosport offers the MAC Prochamber Jet-Hot coated now too, I placed my order last week!!

    Mach 1 Paint

    Mine has 830 miles on it and I have a chip on the hood already. I only took it on the highway once. Ford paint sux.
