Should I install a baffle in the oil fill hole of my valve covers?

Spraying a 300-400 shot of nitrous with a killer oiling system. I have stock covers modified with baffles and the breather tubes to a vented can...haven't had any oil get to the can yet....just fumes. Seems to work good.

Should I install a baffle in the oil fill hole of my valve covers?

Definately use the baffle..............unless you like oil dripping on the valve covers all the time. Trust me.....I ditched the breather caps for a plumbed catch can....and NO...I don't have any blow by either.

    New best 1/4 mile time

I didn't think you had done any body mods to fit the 28's. Go back to the 3.70's and stiffen the rear a little and it should bite and stay a little more level. Mine should be out Tuesday I hope. Doing some last minute stuff and had my son with me to just watch Sat. Eakins car was THE...

Looked good today. 28's and stiffen the rear springs a bit and it should bite harder from the passes I saw today.

    "Safe" nitrous levels?

Relay stuck open and sprayed the cars without adequate fuel. Boom.........it was a mexican block, but I was over 550 at the wheels and in NO-MAN's land with it anyway. The new Dart is much better and allows me to spray more!!!:D

    "Safe" nitrous levels?

To add to that...................YES!! It can be very expensive. Just for the record, it wasn't a junk relay, but the chances certainly increase with a cheap one.

    "Safe" nitrous levels?

Make sure you use quality relays on the nitrous solenoids with the Jacobs box. Ask me how I know this!!:D

    "Safe" nitrous levels?

351carlo and Dave are correct. I have a simular setup with a fogger and have run 350-400 through the motor. Dart block 333......but I have forged everything. I would not push above a total of 550 total HP at the flywheel with a stock crank unless it has been gone through meticulously by a shop...

    Distributor recommendations

MSD drop in and go. It will hook right up with what you already have and it's easier to curve to your engine. Only thing to add is to get the MSD distributor hold down. Much better piece than the ford stuff.
