    Also curious on any N/A folks running this kit.. The stang's winter sound seems to be a bit deeper and thicker opposed to the warmer weather, which I love.. If I could get that sound 365 days a year I would be a happy man!

    If the product is proven on multiple cars and manufactured with quality in mind then I see no reason why I would pass any brand up. I couldn't care less if they made toasters first as long as what they made for my car was of good quality and competitively priced.

    4.10 or 3.73

    '00 GT Auto and loving 3.73's I do 90% highway driving, and love the cruising sound of the car at like 2500 rpm doing 60-70.. If I were to get gears tomorrow tho, honestly I might get 4.10's; the car came with the 3.73's so I figure leave well enough alone for now.

It's more on principal than the $, but that's just a ripoff. Especially since they can just drop a half dozen kits into a Priority Box for 3$...

    ok i just did a tally from the little black book I keep in the car.. 535.717 Gallons of 91 or higher gas 9273.7 Miles driven 17.31082 Miles Per Gallon. Car Info: X pipe, K&N, 3.73's, some crappy 'custom' chip, auto tranny. I don't always get on it, and I do mostly highway miles...

    I've been getting ~18mpg in my '00 GT since the day i got it used last year. It has some unknown chip plugged into the computer for the gears the previous owner put in, but i'll probably replace it with a Predator and see if that helps it out any.

    Gauge wiring question

    It's the brown wire on the wiring harness for the headlight nob. I spliced into the wire and soldered it in so it doesnt come loose. There's 2 bolts holding the bracket onto the dash, don't remember the size though.

    I used the infamous big brown wire on the headlight switch.. I actually had a harder time finding a ground that would work.. Ended up using the big frame tube behind the cluster to ground it.

    I picked up a roll of the Gatorskin stuff, I think it's made by Cascade. I chose it for the sole reason that *something* is going to be better than nothing, and it looks a lot nicer. Not like many are lifting the trunk lining to look at the floor and spare, but I just preferred the look enough...

    I just picked up a Infinity 120.3dvc sub and powered it with a rockford fosgate 451s bridged and i cant possibly imagine needing more bass in my car ('00 gt).. it sounds great, hits really clean, and when i want the thunderous bass it's there for the taking.

    great stuff.. i dont have to wax my wifes car anymore cause she says that the NXT is not tough to get back off like some of the other ones i've used in the past. so if NXT makes me only have to wax 2 instead of 3 cars, i'm all for it! make sure to get the booster wax too.. great for those...
