    those gaskets can take a while to clean off the heads too if they are really stuck on there.

    yeah, i know of a good one in the area. just that i have an extra (stock non-3G) dead alternator here too that i can replace the armature with, if that were even possible. is that possible??

    well, the alternator nut holding the pulley in gave way tonight and the pulley completely stipped the threads. :bang: so, is this fixable at all? dont want to open it up if its not possible to fix

    its RIGHT after the third header tube (#7). The block is at an angle so might be a little tough to find. I was able to see it from under.

    i think i know what you talkin about. isnt that a the temperature sensor for the computer? not really sure myself. its connected to the black piping that runs from near the thermostat housing along the lower intake on the passanger side right?
