    Exactly.. They can also weld the muffler so that it doesn't come off. Muffler shops are very reasonable for adjustments like this. It sounds like it would be worth it for you.

    I sprayed down the engine in a previous vehicle and ended up having to take it to the shop.. I paid for that mistake once and will not do it again. It takes all of 10 minutes to wipe down the engine with a rag. As long as the engine is cool its simple. You may be able to spray it plenty of times...

    30 is the average I've heard, maybe another 10 with a good tune. What is even better is that the power won't fall as much above 5500.. The article said the hp at 6k is about 45 over stock..

    I just read an article about these and they produce good numbers NA and will work best blown.. You're hp will suffer a little between 2500 and 4000 over the Cams designed for NA use (5-10hp) but peak is the same. You will need springs, gears, etc. Comp Cams Xtreme Energy Cart expired...

    Exhaust, intake and cams and he was running 14.3?? He should have been much faster. Based on the trap he must have been spinning half way up the track.. A friend of mine ran 14.16 with exhaust, CAI and a Tune, everything else stock on his auto. Can't help you with gas mileage.. :shrug:

    Why not just install the "Factory HP" tune? You can still change the gear ratio (I assume that's why you're not restoring the backup) but all other parameters match the original backed up tune and you can run 87.
