    Agreed. I liked the first pic w/ no upper emblem, but see the dilemna with the holes. The more traditional tri bar pony would be the next best option imo. Too many emblems starts to look tacky, much like the the sticker/decal craze seen in the import community.

    Why? You must have a powerful curiosity to do that. If you were concerned about the factory fill, why wouldnt you just change it right away? Is the factory fill rumored to have something special in it?

    You forgot nation wide release vs. Califonia Special Edition. I think that is what bugged me the most. If the CS was only available in CA like the original, it would be more "special" and I would give it a lot more consideration. I'm still open to getting one, just to be a little unique but...

    Or how about this: Get a sticker made of the following disclaimer, and stick it somewhere inconspicuous. The Ford Vehicle you are looking at is actually a Mustang GT and is only modified to look similar to the GT500. I appologize to any Mustang fans who are butt hurt by said modifications...

    :lock: This thread did not need to get ugly over fog lights. I still don't think they are illegal, but the cop can use his discretion if thy appear to be blinding, especially since they are more decorative in most instances.

    I'm not aware of such a vehicle code. If they are illegal, they wouldn't allow their sale in the state, would they? Maybe the officer thought they were aftermarket "KC" type lights like they use on the Baja 1000 trucks. I've never heard of factory fog/driving lights being illegal.

    I did not get a chance to see the originals, but I agreed with the majority of the comments in reference to the new pictures. Sorry... I still think they are ugly. Maybe the hip hop/DUB/pimp-my-auto community would bite. Just my two cents.

    I think that is what he is saying. It looks like a quality conversion, and I like the looks of the GT 500. I like GTs too. I just don't like a sheep in wolves clothing.
