    Yeah, ditch the factory football amplifier. Get rid of it altogether, it will free up some much necessary space behind the radio. I deleted the football and just used the factory wiring from the amps harness to wire up my speakers, worked very slick, just use a 9v batter or some other power...

    I made +85 RWHP with my Vortech SC Trim @6lbs of boost. I am very happy with their product, and I will be sticking with Vortech for the long haul. I forsee pulley upgrades, t-rex pump and a bypass valve in my future, lol!

    MAF is mounted downstream of the turbo? Meaning that it is metering the compressed/boosted air?? I thought they had to be mounted downstream, monitoring the amount of air being drawn in, like in a typical supercharger setup.

    BTW, everything with the Powermaster functions normally, your voltage gauge and everything will continue to work. The only thing to remember is that the Powermaster will not turn 'on' with your ignition, you have to rev your engine, and the alternator past 2K or so to 'excite' the alternator...

    The factory plugs are not used. You can zip tie them out of the way, or stuff them into the fenderwell etc. The terminal on the alternator is for GM applications only, it is also unused. Put the rubber cover back on that terminal. The Powermaster is a decent alternator, but their advertising...

    All of the 'original' t-top cars started life as hatchbacks and coupes. The work was contracted out to Cars and Concepts (?) in Michigan. Same with the foxbody verts. So the idea of doing one aftermarket isn't that much of a stretch... I would never do it, however.
