    What is this??? (electrical)

What is this??? (electrical) PICS! In this picture you are looking at a yellow wire holding a 20 amp fuse (kinda blurry). It comes off the starter solenoid and connects itself to a black wire with a white stripe. That wire disappears into the loom. In the background you see a blade connector...

    bbx x-pip

No, the X-pipe tends to give that "raspy" high performance sound... The h-pipe gives the "more bass, loud hollowy sound"

    door locks

The locks are side specific... turn the drivers side lock to the left to unlock and right to lock... repeat on the other side :nice:

    exhaust question

I put pro-dumps on my LX over the weekend and I love 'em! What kind of H-Pipe do you have? Mac products like to mate with other Mac products or stock pipes the best.

    Detonation Dilemma

An electric fan would be nice, but again, I have to do an alt upgrade first... I drove the car A LOT today and its still detonating when under load, even when cool... I guess at this point I'll try pulling some timing out or running a highter octane and see what happens... I'll also pull...

    Detonation Dilemma

Yeah, I'm thinking of trying a new fan clutch... the only thing stopping me is that the old one seems to be in good shape (holds tight and no viscous fluid leaking)... I'd like tp upgrade to an elec, but first I'll have to upgrade my alt which will involve sorting out the rats nest of misc...

    Detonation Dilemma

Haven't dumped the codes yet... Driving temp is actually quite low... I'm using the stock guage, but I'd put it somwhere around 175-180... since I have a 180* stat, that would be about right.... but sitting still the car starts to get warm... I'd say 215-225 at idle but I've seen it get...

    Detonation Dilemma

I have my car out today and I'm driving it pretty hard since I wanted to hear my new pro dumps in action :)... BUT... all I hear is my car starting to detonate every time I put a load on it. Lately the temp has been creeping up at idle so I am sure I have some timing issues, but is there...

    93 Cobra Radio Question

The CD player was strictly an option in '93, most cars were delivered with cassette. I don't remember where I read that all Cobras had CD... obviously I'm wrong :D The door jam sticker is always a good way to tell what radio the car came with... The number 5 to the right of the letter...

    93 Cobra Radio Question

The '93 radios are very slightly different in cassette trim BUT it was also the first year that ford offered a CD player. The CD units are the ones that came standard in the Cobra and are very similar to the systems found in 94-98 cars. The amp wiring for 93 is completely different so it...

    Replacing the Heater Core

Yep, its also in the Mustang Monthly write-up. All you have to do is remove the two nuts on the accumulator bracket and bend it slightly forward and thats it. Nice and simple and no need to evacuate the system :nice:

Thoughts on the FRPP King Cobra clutch?

No Complaints here. The pedal pressure is stiffer than stock, but certainly not bad :nice:

    Replacing the Heater Core

Heater Cores are a PAIN IN THE A**!!! :fuss: The last time I did mine I didn't remove the cover completely. I simply lifted up the cover and used an impact socket on the side to hold it open and then lifted the core out. Mustang Monthly has a great write-up on it...

    lx to gt

In '92 the LX and GT seats were the same. If the LX was a former 5.0, I'd go that way. But... if it was a 2.3, I'd get the GT. My .02 :D
