    Just installed SLP Loudmouth. WOW!!!

    Technically they are resonators....:D And it is my personal opinion that the SLP's sound too harsh. Kind of like choppy poop/shattered glass mixed. But they have good build quality, and if it makes you happy then good for joO. :flag:

    I got my Bassani catback for $315 + $40 shipping off ebay. The ONLY changes I made to my car was the catback and new tires. The new tires didn't do jack b/c my '60 stayed basically the same. (2.29 vs. 2.27). I made ONE pass and trapped 106.2 vs. 103.6. The temperature was basically the same...

    ditch your blowmasters. My previous best trap was a 103.6 after 7 runs. I switched out my welded in flows for a bassani catback and trapped 106.2 my first and only run. Weather is about the same, about 5-10 degrees cooler, still humid as hell. I am a firm believer now in catbacks for Cobras...

    I don't like Nitrous becuase its temporary power and the bottle needs refilling. Bolt ons and Super/Turbochargers are perminent additions to your car, I like having that "unlimited" power on tap. I like power I can use in everyday traffic and city/highway driving....nitrous won't help you...

    BTW, i'm in florida, have run aluminized exhausts on all my cars and none have rusted. I think your being a little anal about your comparisons dude. Besides, the Bassani SS comes with a limited LIFETIME warranty, so even if you shovel salted snow for a living your going to be OK.

    A new GT 5spd with almost exactly the same mods as me + a chip trapped 99mph, I trapped 106. IMO there is a world of difference between GT's and Cobras above 4800rpm. Thats where the extra ~30-50rwhp can be felt.
