    cobra suspension

Eibach Sportlines with Steeda C/C plates here. Quality ride, good look, improved handing. The plates were a precautionary deal, but you'll probably need them with the sportlines. (hence why I got them) And five'ocobra is right, no CC plates for the rear.

Who else notices the 4.10s sucks from a 70+ roll...

The 4.10's f#cked up my powerband (or I should say changed it) in my 97 Cobra. If I try to downshift into 2nd at 45-50mph, I bounce off the revv limiter. Even 40mph is pushing the limits! If I try to get into 3rd gear on the highway at 70mph, I usually bounce off the limiter or end up shifting a...

    do flowmasters really flow?

Tygr1: I experimented by dumping my bassani system and I felt a HUGE power loss. I mean, it was immediete. (sp?) Power around the mid rpm range suffered HUGE. It was hard to tell at times, in certain gears, but I felt it the most in second gear around 3-5krpm. I knew it was a bad idea to run...

I got my Bassani Street Comp catback off ebay for $315, so i'm certainly not complaining.

    do flowmasters really flow?

I personally hate Magnaflows as well, but some people like that particular sound. IMO, the 6rwhp over the flow catback was partially enough to make me ditch my stock pipes/weld ins for a Bassani CB. Less interior noise, louder at full throttle, a bit quieter under 2krpm, and louder at mid rpm...

    do flowmasters really flow?

I ditched my flows for my Bassani. I loved the way both sound, but they sound very different. Bassani has more of a spintech type snarl, very edgy and racey, flows has that classic muscle car sound. Anyways, mikey99cobra, there is a difference. My friend picked up 6rwhp alone from switching...

Full exhaust on a 97 Cobra,What to get?

The (IMO) best option for power and fitment, albeit the nice price tag would be: -Bassani Mid-lengths -Bassani short o/r X-pipe -Bassani Catback IMO that would be one hell of a system, would be a top power maker, would sound absolutely evil, and you could tell people that you have a...

Differences in 2003 and 2004 Cobras?

Actually, I think they introduced the '97 Cobra engine back into production for 2004. The ligher aluminum block and better looking intake manifold (blowers are ugly) have been favorties with SVT owners. Back by popular demand, the new "old" SVT Cobra is sure to pull some better times.

`98 Cobra exhaust poll long tube or shorty?

Bassani Mid-Lengths, Bassani o/r X-pipe, Bassani Street Competition Catback would be the ultimate in power gains and sound IMO. God it would sound b@dass.... so damn beautiful

Yes or No: Is Bassani worth the extra money?

It'll be louder at idle and under 2k rpm, but I doubt it will be louder at full throttle. Why the hell would you wanna change out the Bassani for the crap....err mac? You will lose power and have a less quality system. I like Macs sound but not as much as Bassani. EDIT: I just saw that...

just ran my new 98 Cobra in the 1/8

Get gears, an xpipe, catback, intake and t/a and your MPH should shoot up 7mph and you should be in the 8's with a 2.0 '60.

Yes or No: Is Bassani worth the extra money?

Dyno comparisons on 5.0's mean jack ***** compared to 4.6 DOHC's...we respond totally diffferently. Anyways, I got my Bassani catback (BX) for $315 + $40 shipping off ebay. The mufflers are SS cores, and the tips are SS. The system is overall very nice. The sound is snarley, almost like...
