    Does the location of the muffler affect sound?

    I am not sure about side exhaust, but I do know that short dumps rather than running it all the way back is very much louder in the cabin of the car. Some older cars, it is almost too loud. Serious drone.

    Get some sway bars. Will make a good amount of difference. Reduces body roll. The Eibach kit is good. It is what I have. But Maximum Motorsports is the best of everything.

    Very good chance that it is one of your cats. When the car is running, put your hands behind your exhaust pipes to see if one of them is blowing weaker than the other. The weaker one is probably the side the bad cat is on. If so, you should contact Bassani to see if they warranty the cats...

    You should switch your fronts as well. Go 265/35/18 front and 295/35/18. I have seen some people go 305/40/18 in back though, but you should stick with above.

    Thanks much GB for the info! Thanks AmBo for bring it up in the first place. It never would have crossed my mind about synthetic oil being a problem with a blower. I truly hope you are right about the legality of the blowers here in Cali.

    2 questions. 1) AmBo mentioned that we should change our oil every 3k miles, which is normal, but said no synthetic. Any idea why as I use Synthetic oil. Would I have to switch if I get this kit? 2) Anyone know if this kit is smog legal in CA?

    275's pull more in rutts?

    assuming you are talking about just the front tires, yes they will pull more in ruts. I have 265s versus the stock tires and i totally noticed a difference. I didn't know what people were talking about until i experienced it for myself.

    18" wheels

    You may want to go 10.5 inches wide in the back with 315s. That may be too much tire for just 10s. I could be wrong. I know that some of have done it, but some say that is not safe. I have 295 on 10 inchers. Wanted to go wider, but decided against. Also it is hard to find 315s that are not Drag...

    I believe Maximum Motorsports' piece will fit with the supercharger and without a new hood. Their piece fits the 2003-4 Cobra. They even have a picture on their site.

    Your best bet is someone from California that WILL need it if they have changed their pipes out. I know I would if I hadn't of kept mine.

    Happy I am happy with mine. Service is good too. One of my cats went bad, so they sent me a new one for cheap. If I had send the bad one back it would have been free, but just the replacement was like 20 or so. The are Magnaflow cats. Don't remember paying that much for the pipe though. Prices...

    offer him 7600. Then he will come down some and you go up some and hopefully you two will meet in the middle somewhere are 8200 or so. Any more than that, then you are probably paying too much. Make him pay for the smog check as you will probably need that to transfer the title.

    Who makes a stainless steel h-pipe?

    MRT uses Magnaflow cats. They told me that when I had to replace a bad one.

    Arrghhhh exhaust

    If you don't want it to be raspy, then you should have gotten an H-Pipe not an X. I know you didn't want to hear it, but Flowmaster 40 series are the way to go. I get compliments like every other day. Plus the H-Pipe I got change the sound as well.

    Exhaust vibrating the whole car?

    I have seen something like that. I had two friends. I with a 67 Cougar and the other with a 67 Mustang. Both had dumps. The car did rattle and was totally loud inside. I think with it doing that it reverberates more.
