    I'm thinking about putting in some Royal Purple Max ATF since they say it's compatible with Mercon V. How do you drain and refill the auto tranny? This stuff is $85 for 12 quarts shipped :D

    Is it too hot in Texas for a TURBO?

    I agree, I live in the Dallas area and several of my friends have factory turbo cars and no problems. It's really important to run a good oil, especially a synthetic, and keep your coolant fresh.

    I've driven sticks for years but the Stang I found was an automatic and it was the right color. So I bought it! It is very smooth and fast!

    Guess I'm lucky with my Sonic blue not having that problem. I do notice that there are a few little specs of dust caught under the paint. I have never seen that in any of my other cars, including GM products!

    Jet Performance Chip

    I installed the Jet chip on my auto GT and it has improved the throttle lag and the tranny does seem to shift faster. Overall the car runs a lot smoother. Does it seem like it has more power? I can't answer that question because I was already scared with the power it had :)

    '05 Speaker upgrade

    I bought a set of 5x8's from Crutchfield and replaced my rear speakers. They definitely put out full range sound from the rear. What is cool about buying from them is that they supply the connector for the wiring harness.

    Tsb on front end

    My dealer will not install my lowering springs while performing the TSB. They fed me the line of no non-FORD parts can be installed. I guess they won't be getting my future business.

    That's what I'll do. I'll remove the struts from the car and let a shop install the new springs. Appreciate all the input!
