    which wheels gunmetal or chrome?

rims go for the gunmetal because you have a great contrast there and it's less common than chrome. everyone has chrome rims, i think they are boring, the gunmetal with the polished lip is the one. anyways i have some gunmetal on my car.... you will like them.

Edelbrock "E" Streets, good for 400hp????

heads i'm not running high rrr's or do i plan on running over 5500 rpm's ever so i would say the intake shouldn't have any limiting factors here. i'm getting a milder cam with lower lift and i'm looking to build a torquey responsive street car that is fun and reliable. the gt-40 is one of the...

Edelbrock "E" Streets, good for 400hp????

heads ok, some good info. but no one has any dyno numbers with these heads, or what combo's of intake and cam went with them? i want to upgrade from my roush 200 cast irons and get about 300hp to the wheels which would be about 380-400hp at the motor. right now i'm at about 330 hp at the motor...

Edelbrock "E" Streets, good for 400hp????

i know these heads came out not too long ago and i've done a little research on them, but not a ton. Anyone running these heads, anyone have any personal flow data, or hp numbers with these heads? Edelbrocks numbers are decent, and i guess you can't expect much for under a 1G for heads, but...

    oil breather... needed???

oil breather yes i do have a pcv and it is functioning properly, i had it checked out and it was not gummed up. i am running the stock air pump also but my heads never had the holes drilled in them to make them emissions legal, not sure if that has anything to do with it. i have a windage...

    oil breather... needed???

i recently put a strut tower brace on my 93 347 stroker motor. as a result i had to take out the oil breather on my valve cover and replace it with a regular cap. i noticed the car makes a gurgling noise after i drive it for a while and shut it off. when i drive it for more than 10 miles and...

75 amp alt. with under drive pulley's

alt upgrade hmm, a lot to think about. i think i will go with the 95 amp unit next year. i like to buy brand new stuff so a new pa unit should get it done. i like to do most small projects myself, and a 95 will be plug and play, i wont' have to change anything and it should work good...

    Black rims or chrome? Help!

rims i have my car lowered, it wasn't in that pic, but it is now and i still have no rubbing up front even with the tires in the fenderwell, so 17x9 up front will work fine. mineralgsvt what lowering springs you have? i have the steeda ones with only the top isolators off on the front...

75 amp alt. with under drive pulley's

alternator thanks for the info. i'm probably going to wait and get the 95 amp one when i can afford it, it is working and a local mechanic who specifically works on stangs and has a dyno at his shop said it should be fine. there isn't much of any electrical on my car so for now it should be...

Difference between GT40, Cobra, and tubular GT40?

intake i bought one of the last ones from ford about 5 years ago. my local machine shop/tuner is a ford dealer and had one on the shelf. it cost me a lot at $600 but that was five years ago, and believe it or not they still go for close to that now. i at the time had the edelbrock performer...

75 amp alt. with under drive pulley's

okay the 1st thing everyone is going to say is upgrade the alternator. i know i plan on it, but the funds don't allow it and another $200 this year after a new rear end install would be pushing it. anyway i have the stock 75 amp alternator with under drive pullies and my voltage at 7-800rpm...

    Black rims or chrome? Help!

rims here's an idea, get the black chrome, looks mad cool on a red car. wish i would have got the black chrome, i have a 93 lx that i bought gunmetal 17x9 cobra replica rims for, but i can't complain they look pretty good. i got a mad good deal on them under $500 shipped on ebay. i believe...

Difference between GT40, Cobra, and tubular GT40?

intakes the easy answer to your question is they are all the same. look up some threads there was one exactly on this topic that showed a test of all three intakes on the same motor making within 1-2hp of each other all the way throught the rpm range. anderson ford did this test i believe. i...

    steeda lowering springs/caster camber plates

springs hey, just did the springs today. i was about to quit until i had a third hand when my bro. came over. basically what we did was take the caliper off, unbolt the sway bar link, turn the wheel all the way to one side, unbolt the strut tower bolt on top, compress the strut and completely...

    Edelbrock RPM 2 intake... whoops???

old post, if you check here is an intake tip you have probably installed your new part and gone on with this a while ago but i was reading it and your last sentence said idle-5500, sounds familiar. the edelbrock performer which is about $495 is exactly in that range for a 302 and i had one on...

    practically new clutch grabs high?

clutch good input, i'm guessing it's too tight near the fork, i will have to get under it when the weather clears and back that nut off. i try and use a pair of vise grips to make sure the cable doesn't bind, because when you tighten or loosen the nut the cables want to twist. oh fyi i have...
