    My guess would be around the same as the Cobra, between 7,000 and 10,000. That completely depends on if they are going to make it a limited edition like the Mach 1/Bullitt or a full production car. My guess is it will be another limited.

    The 5.4L in the 2000 Cobra R made 385 hp and from what I've heard the new heads are better than what was on the R, so I would think they should be able to get atleast 390hp from a N/A 5.4L.

    Well the Mach 1 was an almost $6,000 package, so figure on the new Boss (the Mach 1 replacement) being around the same. So I would think the MSRP would be low to mid $30,000 range.

    Why so few orders?

    I wanted a Convertible and was willing to go $5,000 over sticker. Every dealer I've talked too (and I've talked to 6) has all their verts already taken or wants $10,000 over. I guess I'll just be holding onto my '03 a little longer.:)

    The reason they moved it to the left was so they could add that third tail-light, which lowers insurance rates, on a car that will be pretty much impossible to insure.:rolleyes:

    It better not, as it would be in very poor taste to put something like that up without letting the reader know at the end it's a joke. I'm sure a few people are using it to try to get top dollar for the SVT car they are selling, it could cause people to overpay thinking they are buying the last...

    Finally some info from FORD about GT500!!!

    It's a $1,000 tax on top of the price of the vehicle because you are buying a performance car with a supercharged V8 that gets worse mileage than your average 6cyl passenger car. I forget what the cut off MPG is, but I know the '03 Cobra had the tax, while the '04 didn't.

    Read what I said closer. I might wait, but I might not. It all depends on how the car seems like it will sell. There is a lot more interest in this new car than there was the '03/'04 and they are making less cars than the '03. I'm sure a lot of people will be waiting to pick one up at or below...

    I don't think Ford ever put the pass through seat on the verts, I know my '03 Cobra doesn't have it and a buddys 5.0L doesn't have it either. I don't think there is enough room for it, it might have some room, but no where near what the hard top has. In Fords eyes not enough to make it feasible...

    The Lincoln Marks (and Lincoln in general) were always Fords "new tech" vehicles. My '73 Mark IV has stuff Mercedes didn't even put in their cars back then. Now Ford doesn't really do that, they just wait for everyone else to come out with new stuff and copy it.
