    Shifter observations

    I love my MGW....It is not nearly as notchy as the Tri-Ax. The MGW is smoother, quieter, and the reach is perfect. Get the MGW, I guarantee that you will love it. I don't think I have heard one person that didn't like it. MGW FTW!!!

    center caps fit loose?

    I actually did this last weekend. I had the same issue with my stock center caps in my new black Bullitts. So, to fix it, I took the center cap and wrapped 2 layers of electrical tape around the prongs. The center caps now fit snugly and doesn't rattle.

    Flowmaster guts

    My Flowmasters were on my car for 6 years and 80k miles before they rusted completely through. I had a quarter sized hole in the rear of both mufflers and the insides looked exactly like the pics above. Now I have Magnaflows.

    Self mounting tires?

    I used to work at Discount Tire, trust me, you do not want to try mounting your 315's (nor any other tire) yourself. We had enough troubles getting these low profile tires installed w/ the machine, let alone doing it by hand.

    Could the viscosity affect valve chatter. I have some valve chatter while the engine is cold, I'm using Penzoil Synthetic 5W30. Do you think this would go away if I used the recommended 5W20?

    You should have no problems fitting 315's on the rear. I have 315's and have no rubbing on any brake or suspension components and I still have plenty of clearance from the fender.

    I just got quoted $150 and $200 for install. This includes grinding off the powdercoat and painting all exposed bare metal after install. This is for the Maximum Motorsports full-length SFC's though.
