    I am looking into buying a 92' GT that has a 351w w/ a spun rod bearing. I will be taking the engine out and replacing it w/ a 302. It has GT-40 heads and BBK headers. Can I reuse the heads and headers on the 302, or are they different?? Someone said that 351w require a different set of headers...

    How much faster is the 94-95 than the 96-98?

    Another thing to consider is what each engine has to offer in USABLE hp and tq across the ENTIRE rpm band. The 5.0 will come on much earlier and produce more tq early than the 4.6. IMO tq plays a very important part in a fun, fast street car, and the 5.0 definitely has the advantage in that dept.

    I don't buy it. For one, the stok headers are pretty good for stock. Stock mass air and throttle body are nowhere near as restrictive as the stock lower intake. :shrug:
