I have my 2.5 inch V band flange kits (3) so i can do my headers and crossover, and i also bought a 46mm Tial wastegate. In the spring i'll take...

    357 turbo

i've got all the parts for a roller 351 so that will be what goes in. I have no cage or harness, so 11.50 is my limit at the track before i get the boot anyhow. I'm sure it will be very easy to hit the 11.50 mark without even making it grunt!

    357 turbo

Blue thunder: going smaller because if i don't i'll need a really big turbo for the 408....and i really don't want to make an exhaust up using 5 inch material, as it is it'll be tuff with the HX40 and it's 4 inch exhaust....remember it is only a small Pinto! The new 357 will not rev past...

    357 turbo

any 302 block (factory) will not live past 500 horse for long, they split right down the middle, and all the girdles, and valley girdles do is keep the parts in a tidy pile when it does let go. By the way, the "F" cam has made upwards of 1200hp in a blow thru carb, turbo set up....don't believe...

    357 turbo

I finally got my turbo, Holset HX40 brand new. It will be getting a polishing on the compressor side and the turbine side will be ceramic coated (chrome) This turbo will support 600-700 horsepower. I'm building a '95 roller block 351w with good forged bottom end pieces, using a Ford Motorsport...

    turbo?

its doable! goto www.turbomustangs.com they have a section called DIY do it yourself and a section called carburators and boost....lots of info there. For the cheap, get a holset HX35 from a Dodge diesel pickup. The block will not live past 450-500 hp with boost without splitting in half.

interest in single turbo hotside kit?

i'm just seeing if there is any interest. My plans may change for locations and such....but i doubt it. It will be intercooled, using a bar and plate front mount up under the bumper.....it will be visable but i don't really care about stealth. I don't have any inner fenders, i cut them out, i...

interest in single turbo hotside kit?

This fall i'll be yanking the 408 out of my Pinto and replacing it with a roller 302 (built bottom end) and adding a single turbo (Masterpower T70 or Masterpower 62-1) i'm not sure yet. It will still be E.F.I I'm just wondering if there is any interest from the Mustang II crowd in making a kit...

Took my MII to the track today, what a disaster!!!

it may have broken off at the pump, under the clip that holds it in place. I would pull the engine anyhow to check the bearings, the mains and rod bearings most likely will be toast if you were at the top end of the track at 5000+rpms with no oil pressure.

Took my MII to the track today, what a disaster!!!

i would say the pump driveshaft twisted off, your pump may have injested some nasty thing in your pan, it stuck inbetween the vanes in your pump and broke the shaft.
