    mexican 351W

i think they were all cast in windsor, not Mexico hence the name. I'm not 100% sure but iv'e never heard of them, get a casting number, lets see what it says. Mexican 302 were a stronger block because of the higher nickel content, but a Mexican 351?

    EFI to carb swap

my efi pinto are you going to EFI or going to carb? Serpantine i think gives you more room as you can get a shorter waterpump. I converted to EFI on my 351w in my Pinto, i'm not good at the carb thing! All my buddies spend lots of time flirting with their carb settings, i just look at my...

    large bell c4 (164 tooth)

You will need a BFH and go a little nuts on the trans tunnel where it and the firewall become one. My Pinto has a C5 with the 164 tooth flywheel although i'm using a C4 bell and flywheel (C5 bell is longer to accomadate the lock up torque convertor)

    Header Headaches

you might be better to install them first, make sure of the fit. Clearancing them with a hammer AFTER ceramic coating really sucks! Just my 2 cents.

    new here hi all!

It ran a 12.7 at 106mph right off the trailer.....no time for tuning as racing started after one time trial! (it was a busy day at Grand Bend Motorplex) I have a set of world's windsor Sr. that have been ported, A F150 lightning lower (gt 40) and a '93 Cobra upper that have been extrude honed, a...

    new here hi all!

They are the same underbody, and basic body structure, everything under your car....will fit mine! The only difference is the outside body panels, and some of them will even bolt on! I've seen pictures of Pintos with Mustang II front ends bolted on.

    new here hi all!

thanks for the welcome guys! The C5 replaced the C4 in '83....it came in all vehicles. It is pretty much the same as a C4 but it had a lock up torque converter and the bell housing is a bit longer because the converter is longer. Internally parts interchange except for the valve body, pickup...
