    You can't base it on one case. Maybe your friend took crappy care of his car. I changed the tranny fluid on a toyota truck for the first time at 240k. Tranny went out the next day. With regular changes from the beginning, he probably could have doubled his mileage.

    My 67 fastback weighs 2900 lbs. Thats what the GVW says. Where is there a 4000lb mustang from the 60's? And mustangs now are more than 3000lbs. And to get a 6 speed, you have to buy a cobra, and that puts the weight between 3600 to 3800lbs.

    Yeah, the 350Z starts under 30k, but I have not seen one optioned for under about 35k. Good looking car though, deserves more power than they gave it. Maybe they will do a twin turbo like the 93 models(I think it was 93).
