    67 vs 68 interior door handles.

    That is what i was thinking aswell, 67 and 8 are simlar all around I just don't have the 67 here to directly compare. Maybe we will know by the end of the weekend when i go pick it up! :nice:

    Well just like the title says, anyone here know if 68 door handles will work on a 67 I am currently looking at purchasing a 67 coupe. I already own a 68 and i like the door handles on the interior much better, if someone has done this or knows if it can be done feel free to chime in...

    I run a 90.5'' belt with no smog if that helps. I tried a 90 but was to tight, grab a couple and then take the other ones back.:nice: or +1 on the fox pump for the cost

    Well have you concidered going back to the automotive world and worked at a parts, service desk or maybe even in sales. Stay with a company for a while and work your way into a managers position. Justa an idea

    2 many cars out there just to buy the first one you see and test drive. +1 on the manual trans over the auto any day of the week, just way more fun that way. And the car is really overpriced IMO, they just make them look clean to sell. It is amazing what a detail will do to an old car to hide...

    +1 on finding out more info. I just purchased clear headlights and markers, new Cobra R front skin, looking for clear fog lamps aswell. BOI looks to be the best on ebay so far, I will go to my buddies shop today and find out how much different ones are here my cost and let you guys know. Dagz

    And i personally would take the trans from the bellhousing to put it back together, man that must have been a pain in the a$$, much easier to seperate the 2 no wonder you where asking for advice on the top 2 bellhousing bolts. Dagz

    also the pilot bearing is still reamining in the crank area correct... ive just been beating it to all hell.... the slide hammer is a snapon and its the size of my arm... and has a little claw hook on it... but i hit it so hard it just rips the bearing apart and pops out.... Try the grease...

    Try putting some grease in behind the pilot bearing with a gease gun until it is full. Then take your new shinny Clutch allignment tool and hit it in the hole with a hammer, and the pilot bearing will pop out. Might have to reapeat this a few times. Might as well change the rear main it is...

    I have heard good things about the explorer swap, the heads are iron and some headers work others don't. Cant really remeber why but i'm sure if you do a search you will find it. I plan on getting an explorer motor myself. I want to put the top end on the 95 and use the block to start...

    I used gun wash to take the paint off of my tips and then polished them. they look great no complaints here, Dagz
