    oh yeah heh, I know on my old mac shifter the handle (not knob) came loose. so I tightened it as tight as i could with out stripping it, then gave it to my friend. he hasnt had any problems with it since i gave it to him. so are you sure you tightened the bolts good enough? (if its the handle)
