    It sounds like the battery is not charging. You should see well over 12v's when the car is running. I usually see between 13.8-14v's w/the car running. Have you had the alternator checked while in the car or out of the car?

    I also agree.... dial in the dizzy so the advance happens sooner i.e. lighter springs. Also, thumper has a good idea about checking fuel pressure & timing before you tear into anything. If it's one or both being the problem the fix is easy and better than tearing into something needlessly.

    I've used both and I prefer the larger gauges cause of their ease to read while at the car idles and while driving. Of course I have old eyes so that's part of the reason :bang: . I think it's gonna come down to preference and where you mount them.
