    Not from a t-5 but the toploader 4 speed in my fathers 55 t-bird does the same thing. guessing it comes from the way the gears are cut. I wouldn't worry about it too much. When you hear a grind is when you should.

    172 and 176 are the codes that I pulled. Yes it is 10% ethanol and not e85. Autometer AF gauge. Pretty sure it is the fuel because it has had no problems till my area started using it and my car start to sit for long periods. I'll bump the fuel pressure up today and see if that helps. Thanks...

    are you still going with that endurashine finish on your intake? might want keep it in mind if your motor runs hot. I've had several people I have talked to that the endurashine holds in heat and seems to make their motors run a bit on the hot side. Just something to keep in mind.

    Sounds like a good deal to me. I have a friend who majored in concrete management a few years ago from MTSU and he said if you want any work done don't put it off cause the prices are going to steadily increase every year.

    eh, if it was me, I would keep looking. It's a good looking car but not enough to trade a new GT and cash. If it was 100% original might be a different story but I can think of much better cars for 25k.

    IMO, the new BOSS block from Ford is a good bang for your buck. Can't beat a new block with 4 bolt mains and screw in freeze plugs.

    One of the Knoxville, TN Ford dealerships won that at the Barrett-Jackson auction and gave it away as a promotion. I believe it was then sold again at the BJ by the woman who won it from the Ford dealership. Pretty slick movie car. Has all kinds of "James Bond" gear in it.

    another thing you might want to think about (if you are not there yet) is only hook up one thing at a time and test it. that way, if you have a problem, it's quicker and easier to figure out where things went wrong.
