    4.6 2v wiring

    Remove the firewall harness connector and the two big connectors next to it on the passenger side firewall, then disconnect the two grounds on the fusebox on the drivers side by the battery, and everything else will come with the motor. Don't do it piece by piece! Are you taking it out...

    The stock bottom end on GTs and pre-'03 Cobra's are all the same, basically, minus a little bit different piston to equate for the difference in compression, and the forged vs. cast crank. '03 and up Cobras are much different. What do you mean a "cast" bottom end? You mentioned "heavy duty"...

    Whats the best way to take out a 4.6 engine?

    The best way would be to take it out from underneath, but if you don't have a lift that's pretty tough. Like he said, there are bolt holes front driver and rear passenger, and if you want you can use the bellhousing bolts if you've taken the tranny off, too, for extra stability.

    Dude just take it to Brads and have it professionally done if you can't weld. It's not something you want to mess up and have off center/alignment if you ever want to build up the power in your car. Some things really need to be done right...thats one of them.

    If he's only hitting mid 13's with that blower, he's either got no traction or can't drive. That should be 12 seconds, no problem. There are other guys running series IV's in the 11s without slicks. Why would it be mid 13s?? Regardless, drag racing is for people who can't turn. :D
