    you dont have to disconnect the battery every time you leave the car. just lock the doors manually, (dont use the remote and dont use the power locks). this will keep the alarm from turning on passive mode.

    can you hear the fuel pump coming on when you turn the key but dont start it? it should come on for a few seconds to prime the fuel lines. if it doesn't turn on it could be a ignition switch problem.
