    for the gas pedal I would check the cable for kinks, and make sure there is nothing rubbing against the lever on the throttle body. you can also move the lever with your hand and see if the mechanism is sticking.

    I have 4.10's on a 5 speed, and If I could do it over again, I would have gone with 4.30's. the freeway rpm change took some getting used to, but I went from 2.73's to 4.10's and I still feel comfortable on the freeway.
