    Tail light lens install help

    I've done 3 different tail light lens swaps. 1st time ...I used new butyl. 2nd time ...I used new butyl. 3rd time ..reused the butyl from the 2nd time, no leaks in 5 yrs. It is easier however to remove all the butyl rope when it's cool rather than warming it up.

    . I think I spent somewhere between 25 and 26 hrs sanding, polishing both the upper and lower over 3 month process :) So I guess you could say.... about 1 hrs a weekend from Nov. thru Jan since i don't do anything on the car during the week.

    Wiring

    It's not hard at all to put the wires in your fenders, my guess is that it might take you 4 hrs or so to put all the wires in the drivers side fender and less than 2 hrs to put all the wires in the passenger side fender. Hiding vacuum lines probably an hr, and hiding brake lines probably 3 hrs...

    Anyone have the location of the PCV valve?

    If you haven't already found the PVC valve this is what you're looking for. To remove the screen you can either thread a wood screw into the screen or use a pair of bent 90 degree needle nose pliers to pull the screen out.
