    consider it. it may be worth it. look it over thoroughly. look at the undercarriage for any signs of leakage, check the rear diff, the pinion seal, tranny, look for oil or signs of leaks. test drive it and check everything, a/c,heat,cruise and listen for anything you may feel is unusual.

    why should he care about a little weight gain? it is offset by the power gains. it wouldnt be much if any weight gain. an all aluminum motor versus one that is iron. the cobra motor would be best. it can breathe better and has a broader rpm and power band than a SOHC.

    the only easy and cheap mod for your car would be to do the control arms. and if you really want to gain a tenth or two loosen your front sway bar at the track. the only issue with lca's would be compressing the coil spring to install it. the exhaust is not an issue.

    if you try a salvage yard try finding a v-6 explorer 8.8 i believe those already have 4.10's if not a 94-95 GT rear is good. they are slighty narrower and allow a wider rear rim/tire combo on 99 stangs.

    why add the bullitt inkake to a GT?

    the bullit intake doesnt do much for stock motors. it is best for boosted or highly modified cars. stock it didnt add much hp but plenty of torque. most go with this intake because its lower cost and it is cast aluminum while stock is plastic.

    Cobra Times

    well everyone pretty much agrees about the et. but with that much boost and summer weather that car seriously needs an intercooler of some sort if it is to be street driven on pump gas. every major supercharger kit now above 8-9 psi are all intercooled to run pump gas and a decent tune.
