    i have one on my 98 GT. for whatever reason it's listed as a 99+ piece. but the thing fits perfectly in my 98, probably will in any 94-98 as well i bet.

    i whole heartedly agree that you should change you pistons if you were gonna run boost. i'm just saying that if you wanted a quick fix, or didn't want to run premium cause you're a cheapass, then mill the swirl damns.

    yeah it's tru. it's mainly due to our pistons. they bump the CR up with the PI heads on. unfortunately you have to run premium fuel all the time. if you were to mill the swirl dams in the PI heads though, we would retain the stock CR.

    it depends on your crankshaft on whether you would need to get a 6 bolt or 8 bolt. i think it was the 00 model year that had both Romeo and Windsor engines in them, need to double check that though. anyhow, Romeo engines had the 6 bolt crankshaft while Windsor engines had the 8 bolt...

    4V vs 2V intakes

    2v heads have a teardrop shaped intake port. 96-98 4v heads had 2 sets of intake ports, while 99+ 4v heads have more of an oval shaped intake port. hence why you really can't slap a 4v intake on 2v heads.

    the GT500 will be using the exact same heads as the Cobra R/Ford GT which are the best flowing DOHC heads ford made period. it will be using the same valvetrain parts too, not too sure if it's the same cams though. pistons and rods will also be from the GT or at least be very similar to them...

    he already stated that he doesn't want the "cobra" lettering to appear on the bumper. i highly doubt he'll be putting the snake emblems on the fenders too. besides that, there are a bunch of people on this site that have cobra front bumpers and we don't knock em for it. :shrug:

    going from a 4.6 to a 5.0 actually makes a lot of sense since you'll be increasing the narrow bore these engines already have. this is what will make more hp rather than a stroker which will mainly make more torque. tru the cammer is a bit overpriced, but you get a variable geometry intake...
