    Oh christ dude...you will **** your pants. I say atleast a .5 diff in the 1/4. The gears (And no PI) is what KILLED, and i mean KILLED the 96 - 98. You need gears...

    For a RWD car, the gears are the BEST bang for the buck (excluding power adders and other crap). Its so fun to drive with new gears (especialy if you do it right). They are an amazing mod... :shrug:

    If your looking for -looks-, ebay...(Infact go on ebay and try to find the C&L), But if you want some pep, get the C&L. They also are better than CAI for future power adders.

    :bang: 4.10's On a 96 (which are turds), you do NOT want to go ANY lower than what you have and i would suggest 4.10s. You also would want some PI stuff which you seem to be interested in which is good. With PI, Gears, and some DR's, you should be in the high 13's

    Ok...this is such a old question but here we go again. :D A CAI in not worth a single cent. They do not produce and messureable gains. If you are gona spend that much money get the MAF such as the one in my sig, but if you really want a noticeable gain, GET 4.10 GEARS! DO NOT FEAR THE GEAR!
