    Please dont include that bit of information in any database. Mustangs got sloppy gearboxes with pitman arms, drag links, idler arms, and inner/ outer tie rods. The system is quite similar to what you would find on most late model trucks. Rack and Pinion steering didnt come from the factory...

    here's what I'm thinking: I get an explorer rear, complete with brakes, 3.73, posi and all. Then, purchase another right axle and have the housing shortened to match the axle. From the looks of things so far, that looks like it will work peachy. Any thoughts?

    Does anyone know the flange to flange distance on an SN 95 Mustang's 8.8? I want to do a swap into my 65 and have posi, disc brakes and a strong replacement for the 8" all in one shot. What about the 94 and up T-birds?
